If I get a “media” gig in 2015, what will I need to know that I don’t already know?

Let’s imagine it’s 2015.

Maybe I’m employed  within a media based company. Maybe I’m producing my own large creative project.

To best harness the internet and mobile media in 2015, what skills and areas of knowledge will I need?

What areas could I be researching now to build towards that knowledge?

Artificial intelligence? Podcasting? Privacy? Advertising? Web 3.0/semantic web?  Demography/consumption patterns? Sociology? RSS? HTML5?
